Writing and Office Intern (12-16 hrs/week)

Job Description: Assist with research, grant and report writing as well as some general office duties such as data entry and clean-up.

Skill Requirements: Ability to follow instructions for conducting detailed and thorough print and online research; highly detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear and well organized summaries and reports on research findings; excellent computer skills; good team player.

Web Intern (12-16 hrs/week)

Job Description: Updating and maintaining web site; taking pictures at events and posting them on social media; editing and posting taped events on YouTube.

Skill Requirements: Excellent organizational and communication skills; working knowledge of WordPress and Adobe Suite (InDesign and Photoshop); highly detail-oriented; ability to follow instructions and translate them into web pages; good team player.

Events Assistant Intern (12-16 hrs/week)

Job Description: Work closely with the director in coordinating the Center’s events. Communicate with speakers and guests over the phone and via email, make room reservations and request room setup with AV & Facilities Departments, order refreshments, etc. Promote events via email and using GetRespose, a web application.

Skill Requirements: Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills; highly detail-oriented; ability to follow instructions and work under pressure; Spanish or/and Portuguese desirable; good team player.
