Haydeeliz Carrasco

Haydeeliz Carrasco (MPA/ID, Harvard Kennedy School) is a second-year Ph.D. student in Economics at The Graduate Center, CUNY, and a Research Assistant at the Stone Center on Socioeconomic Inequality. Her research explores the intersection of fiscal policy, poverty, and inequality, with regional experience spanning Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Prior to beginning her Ph.D., she spent nearly a decade as a researcher and consultant for the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Dominican Republic’s Social Policy Cabinet, and various research institutes. She holds a BA in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (Dominican Republic).
