Juan Corredor-Garcia (MPhil, Sciences Po Bordeaux and Université de Bordeaux) is a Ph.D. student in Political Science at The Graduate Center, CUNY, and a Ph.D. Fellow at the Bildner Center for Western Hemisphere Studies. His research spans comparative politics, environmental and climate security, and peace and conflict studies, with a substantive focus on the Amazon Rainforest. His work has been supported by Fulbright-Minciencias, the American Political Science Association, the Eiffel Scholarship Program of Academic Excellence, the Agence Nationale de la Recherche, and The Graduate Center. His research has been published in Alternatives, Small Wars & Insurgencies, and Revista Economía y Sociedad. Prior to graduate school, he worked as a researcher for the United Nations Development Program, the Colombian Truth Commission, and InSight Crime.
